Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, entertaining family and friends, or simply looking for a more personal wildlife adventure, a Signature Private Safari offers the flexibility to create your ideal experience.
Customize your Signature Private Safari with optional Food and Beverage add-on.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to explore Safari West at your own pace, spend more time with your favorite animals, ask questions, and create a wildlife adventure that’s uniquely your own.
Each Signature Private Safari accommodates up to 12 guests. The Private Photo Safari and the Royal Winos and Rhinos remain separate experiences and accommodate up to 8 guests (more information listed below).
The Classic Safari follows a set route set by the safari guide, but with the Signature Private Safari, you’re in control. With a vehicle reserved solely for you and yours and a highly-trained safari guide at your beck and call, take your excursion where you want. Whether you’re a group or family needing social distance, or simply a lover of the wilds looking to maximize time with a favorite animal, the Signature Private Safari is the option for you.
For families with children under the age of four, the Ultimate Private Safari can be a great option. While we have age restrictions on the Classic Safari, our private excursions are exempt.

Artisan Cheese Board with Non-Alcoholic Refreshments
Enjoy our artisan cheese board featuring a curated selection of fine cheeses, seasonal accompaniments, and artisan crackers, served with refreshing non-alcoholic beverages.
$28 per guest
Guests in the same party are welcome to select different beverage options.

Other Private Safaris
The new Royal Winos & Rhinos Safari Experience takes adventure to a luxurious new high. A traditional wine tasting becomes a full wine pairing as you enjoy some of the finest vintages available. Each sample is carefully paired with artisan treats like prosciutto-wrapped melon, smoked salmon on toast points, or crab cakes with lemon aioli!
After guiding you through our amazing wild herds, your talented safari guide will lead your taste buds on an adventure all their own. A discerning mind deserves to experience a wildlife adventure like no other, and a discerning palate deserves the Safari West Royal Winos & Rhinos experience!

The Private Photography Safari is focused on getting you in the right position to capture unique images of our African animal and exotic bird collections. Your private vehicle, driven by a highly trained safari guide and photographer, will enable you and your photography group to customize the route to catch the light and get the best angles and compositions. Photo Safaris are usually set in the early morning or late afternoon to take advantage of optimal lighting and animal behavior. Come catch golden hour with the herds on the hill!
The Private Photo Safari is recommended for both solo photographers and groups, including up to eight photographers *(max of 2 photographers per row, including roof seats).
Only available Monday — Friday.
